The “Bundesverband Medizinischer Auftragsinstitute” (BVMA) was founded in July 1991 in order to represent CROs (Contract Research Organisations) which are based in Germany or German-speaking countries. On November 21, 2025, the BVMA will host its 33rd annual symposium in Munich, under the theme Disruption and Renewal – Driving Innovation and Competitiveness in Clinical Research.
