Dr Radek Janiak
Chief Executive Officer
Radoslaw studied medicine at the University of Warsaw graduating in 1997. After working as a hospital doctor for 4 years he moved into clinical research initially as a site director for a Polish CRO. Working for Synexus from 2005 until 2019 he was responsible for the rapid growth of the business across Central and Eastern Europe. He was appointed COO in 2015.
Iwona Tongbhoyai
Chief Client Solutions Officer
With over 15 years of site and clinical trials management background and more than 7 years of business consultancy experience, Iwona has a unique blend of expertise and a strong focus on strategic planning. Prior to FutureMeds, she was responsible for improving the efficiency of the global start-up, clinical trial and site operational readiness across over 160 sites and 17 countries at a global site network. At FutureMeds, she plays a key role in growing site network and building lasting relationships with Sponsors and CROs. She specializes in DCTs and strives to help Sponsors and CROs develop and deploy strategies and solutions that positively impact research timelines and drive medical progress.

Marcin Gondek
Chief Financial Officer
Marcin is a graduate in Economics from the University of Wroclaw. He spent 10 years working in senior finance roles for a number of multinational companies. He joined Synexus in 2012, initially as finance director for Central and Eastern Europe and has extensive knowledge of site operations, feasibility and contracting. Marcin was appointed as CFO of Synexus in 2017 and lead the integration of the European and US businesses.
Melanie Manners
Global HR Director
Melanie Manners, a strategic and entrepreneurial global HR executive, thrives in dynamic environments and is driven by leaving a positive legacy. With 25+ years of experience across SMEs and global markets, she was formerly VP People at Eagle Genomics. An honors graduate, FCIPD Fellow, leadership coach, and Six Sigma Green Belt holder, she’s committed to building capable teams and excellence in people management.
Paul Chambers
Chairman
Paul graduated from the University of Sheffield before training as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG. He spent five years in Practice before moving into industry. Formerly CFO of Synexus from 2010-2017, leading the business through a period of substantial growth culminating in two successful private equity exits. Paul is currently a non-executive director of The North West Fund.
Cameron Glen
VP of Global BD
Cameron has a unique blend of industry experience and knowledge. He spent 23 years of his career building & forging alliances and pursuing new business for notable public and private sector players such as Menarini Pharmaceuticals, AstraZeneca, University of Dundee/NHS Tayside, Synexus, and industry-leading CROs such as Covance Inc. (Labcorp R&D) and ICON plc.
Wojciech Szczepanik
EVP of Site Operations
Wojciech, with a PhD in biomedicinal chemistry, began his clinical trials career as a monitor at AstraZeneca in 2005, focusing on cardiology, pulmonology, and oncology. He later joined Synexus, leading its growth for 11 years. As VP of International Site Network at Pratia, he focused on mergers and acquisitions, driving the expansion of its international site network. As an Executive VP of Operations at FutureMeds, he plays a key role in the sustainable expansion of the site network.
Grzegorz KrówczyÅ„ski
VP of IT
Grzegorz KrówczyÅ„ski VP of IT LinkedIn With over 17 years of professional experience and deep domain knowledge of Business Intelligence, Data Management and Clinical Trial Management Systems, Grzegorz plays a key role in building FutureMeds' IT arm and ensuring that the company is fully prepared and ready for driving innovations in the Clinical Trials market.
Małgorzata Herrera
Director of Feasibility & Proposals
Maggie is a seasoned professional with 14 years of clinical research experience. Known for her passion, strategic decision-making, and team-oriented approach, she previously held key roles at Synexus, including leading their global feasibility department. Before joining FutureMeds she worked as Senior Director of Feasibility at AES.
Nachiket Chandak
Senior Director of BD
Nach has held various sales positions, driving revenue growth for industry leaders. Starting at Datamonitor Healthcare in 2007, he gained insights into clinical development. He then excelled at PPD, ICON Plc, and Parexel, forging partnerships and advancing phase II-III research.
John Allen
Managing Director, United Kingdom
With over 15 years clinical research experience and a background as a qualified accountant, John brings a unique blend of expertise to our team. His commitment to high patient recruitment have been pivotal in establishing multiple sites for FutureMeds UK. John Allen leadership and extensive knowledge are instrumental in making a positive impact in UK clinical research.
Rocio Diaz Sanchez
Managing Director, Spain
With over 12 years of experience in Research Management in different academic institutions and private hospitals, Rocio Diaz, in her role of Managing Director of FutureMeds Spain aims to bring the patients’ the best treatment. Through her continued commitment to excellence, Rocio strives to contribute further to the betterment of society.
Dr. Piotr Rozpondek MD PhD
Managing Director, Poland
As Managing Director of FutureMeds Poland, Piotr aims to further improve access for patients to clinical trials using virtual visits and home nursing, advance decentralized clinical trials processes, start hospital-based new sites, and introduce oncology studies to FutureMeds’ therapeutic areas.
Ivan Vyshnyvetskyy MD Ph.D.
Managing Director, Ukraine
Ivan, an associate professor at Bogomolets National Medical University in Kyiv, Ukraine, has over 20 years of experience in medical practice and clinical research. He is an Investigator with 50+ clinical trials experience, including 30+ trials as a PI and is the President of the Ukrainian Association for Clinical Research, which, under his governance, became an influential Ukrainian professional society in the field.
Borislav Borissov MD MBA, DSc
Managing Director, Bulgaria
Prof. Dr. Borislav Borissov, MD, MBA, DSc, with over 31 years of medical and over 11 years of clinical trials management experience, will be responsible for leading FutureMeds’ Bulgarian operations and extending FutureMeds' network of medical research clinics into Bulgaria.
Nicole Bohrmann
Director of Decentralized Operations
Nicole, with experience as Site Manager and Territory Director at Synexus, and Senior Project Manager at Marken, brings exceptional leadership to FutureMeds. Her career highlights include winning the VIP Award Germany, completing a high-potential leadership program, and supporting global Home Health Care initiatives. Starting as a study nurse, Nicole’s firsthand insights into patient care have been invaluable throughout her clinical trial career.
