Building connections from day one. FutureMeds Hosts Group Onboarding in Wroclaw

FutureMeds recently welcomed a group of 15 new starters to the organisation’s first-ever group onboarding session in Wroclaw, Poland, bringing colleagues together from across departments and countries to learn, connect and begin their FutureMeds journey as one team.

Spread across two days, the onboarding brought the team together for a series of sessions delivered by colleagues from across the business. Representatives from a range of departments shared insights into how the work their teams do contribute to FutureMeds’ wider mission and continued contribution to clinical research.

These sessions provided colleagues with valuable opportunities to ask questions,build connections, and immerse themselves in FutureMeds collaborative approach to driving progress for clients, patients and our teams.

As part of the onboarding programme, the team had a tour of the Wroclaw site. Led by Monika Paradyż, Site Director. It provided the new joiners a firsthand look at FutureMeds' dedicated research model in practice and how our sites support participants throughout their clinical trial journey.

The tour allowed new starters to gain a deeper understanding of the important role each team plays in delivering high-quality research, as well as, in the words of one of the attendees: "seeing the real-world impact clinical research can have for our participants."

Bringing colleagues together from different teams, locations, and professional backgrounds was a central part of the onboarding experience. The new joiners represented a mix of departments, seniority, and expertise, from Senior Director of Business Development to Global Marketing Assistant, from Site Director to Associate Director of Cyber & Information Security, and all in between.

By creating a shared experience for colleagues who may not typically interact in their day-to-day roles, the programme helped increase familiarity, build cross-functional relationships and provide a broader understanding of how each area contributes to FutureMeds' success.
