As part of the collaboration, FutureMeds will establish a Dedicated Research Site (DRS) within Clínica DKF's facility, further solidifying the partnership's commitment to accelerating patient access to new treatments.
FutureMeds’ DRS model has already been successfully implemented in four other countries. By setting up a dedicated research unit at Clínica DKF, FutureMeds will be able to work closely with the clinic's team of specialists, leveraging combined expertise to optimise clinical trials and deliver innovative medical solutions to patients across Europe.

Dr Karin Freitag, founder and director of Clínica DKF, is a specialist in Rheumatic and Sports Medicine and a renowned expert in Shockwave and Regenerative Medicine & Cell Therapy. Her pioneering research on non-invasive treatments for orthopaedic applications has contributed to the understanding of the biological effect of shockwave therapy, leading her to discover the groundbreaking Neurolith method, which involves transcranial stimulation with shock waves in the field of neurology, particularly for cognitive diseases.
